2015 Sale Results

On behalf of everyone at Duncan Livestock we want to send out a big thanks to our sale crew for your help today and leading up to the sale.

Thanks to Blair Campbell and Stephen Mutch for preparing the sale cattle.

Thanks to Jennie Mutch for her photography skills.

Thanks to Grant, Karrie, Ryan, Caleb, and Liam Boswall for helping with the set up and tear down.

Thanks to Dixie Vickerson for helping with the meal.

We would also like to recognize everyone involved with the PEI Easter Beef Show & Sale.  The exhibitors, buyers, and all involved had an incredible sale in 2015.  We believe that because of those results, we had our sale records shattered with a high seller at $4800 and a sale average of $3469.

Our 7th annual sale went way beyond our expectations.  Thanks to the buyers and bidders and anyone else who attended.

We hope to do it again on Saturday, September 3, 2016.

Below are the results for the 8 steers we had on offer.

100% Calving Success

We were very happy to officially wrap up our calving window last week with a 100% calving rate with 62% of the calves being males.  On top of the that, thanks to the watchful eyes of Karl & Irene and COW-TV, we did not require any veterinarian assistance for deliveries.

AI breeding is getting close to wrapping up with most of the cows bred back to the following sires.
